Here are some of Finn Farm's Birmans in their forever homes

Finn Farm's Zero Plus
Zero Plus was the runt in a litter of five. I was not concerned at first, he seemed to be fine, but when at three weeks of age, he was only a mere 5 ounces, and had no hair on his belly, I began to get concerned. Thinking that the other kittens were pushing him away from the milk bar, I purchased a container of milk replacement from the vet, and a baby bottle. At first, Zero Plus took to it eagerly, he would get soooo excited when he saw me coming with his milk. He just could not get the milk in fast enough. After a week though, he decided he was not going to take that bottle anymore! Hmmmmm....I thought, he is now getting the milk from his mother, but I still could not get him over the 5 ounce mark.
I went to the canned food, adding a bit of baby rice cereal. Zero Plus was not sure what to do with this, so I scooped some of it in my hand, and gently placed some of it in his mouth. "Oh, boy, this is for me" he thought, and he started sucking it up. He did this for two weeks, then he learned to "EAT" from my hand. It was more than once that Zero Plus thought my fingers were part of the meal! He would open wide, and bite down hard. I learned quickly to have a large scoop of food on my hand, not just a little bit!
Then the day came he felt he was big enough to eat with the others, and soon he would beat the others to the plate. Zero Plus was slowly getting his fur to come in, and I used to chuckle at times, as he reminded me of a baby bird who was donning his new feathers. Little tufts of fur here and there, and around his ears. Zero Plus finally got fur on his belly, and he finally hit the 1 pound mark, making this breeder very happy!
Zero Plus was a fighter, and will steal your heart away. He is now called Christopher Robin, and lives at the home of Allison Smyth with his pal, Winnie the Pooh.

Finn Farm's Diaz loves giving kisses and loves attention! Playing on the computer table while I type, trying to help out... The whole trip home he was held, and did not hear a word out of him, just cuddled and slept. For the first day home he is doing great and is so precious! MaryAnne |
